YOUR GIVING IMPACTS...
Giving is a way that we imitate Jesus Christ who “though he was rich, for your sake he became poor,
so that by his poverty you might become rich” (2 Cor. 8:9). It is an act of worship which is “a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (Phil. 4:18). And financial generosity is an expression of a generous life as it demonstrates, constructs, and reveals our hearts (Mt. 6:19-21; Jms. 2:14-19).
Our generosity toward the poor, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and the local church allows us to love one another in tangible and real ways. This kind of generosity was evidence of the move of the Holy Spirit in the early church (Acts 2:45; 4:32) and continues to be evidence of the move of the Spirit today.
ways to give
Give Locally
Generosity in a local body of believers involves recognizing our obligation to give to God and to His kingdom in order to aid in the proclamation of the Gospel through word and deed. Giving is co-labor in the Gospel which empowers kingdom work.
Give Globally
We partner with Shoulder 2 Shoulder, a non-profit organization, following the New Testament model of generosity of those who have resources in the kingdom of God to give to those who do not. It is our call to stand “shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, your surplus matching their deficit, their surplus matching your deficit.” Join us to help make a difference in Zambia, feeding those currently living in deficit.
